"Bamburgh Time"
Preparation is key in landscape photography, however on this particular January morning I hadn't bargained for the icy road conditions for my journey up to Bamburgh in beautiful Northumberland.
Even though I'd paid particular attention to the sunrise and tide times, the weather was a little cooler than forecast and, according to the 17 other photographers who were visiting from all parts of the country on a photography trip, I'd missed the best sunrise any of them could remember!
I'm always keen to make the best of what there is though and I made one or two lovely moody shots with the waves and sky patterns very prominent.
With a 'little' Photoshop treatment to give a slightly different interpretation to the scene, I kind of like the feel to this one!
I think this will look great as a large acrylic panel!
