"Warkworth in Bloom"

I had been wanting to make a photograph of Warkworth Castle in Spring for the past two years, however the conditions were less than perfect on all previous visits.
The Daffodils that surround the castle look absolutely wonderful at this time of the year, and to whoever decided to plant them in the first place, well done, a stroke of genius!
Warkworth is a beautiful village up near the North Northumberland coast and to get to the castle I passed the local cricket club and there must have been 40-50 young kids being given coaching on this particular evening, marvelous effort when you consider the size of the village.
For this shot I decided to use the Circular Polariser as I love the way it accentuates cumulus clouds when used at 90 degrees to the sun. I also used a 0.6 GNDS + 0.3 GNDS feathered to hold back a bit of the light. A lovely evening and a wonderful place to be!
