"Bamburgh Mood"

Bamburgh has always been a favourite location of mine and there is no doubt that i will be returning time and time again, looking for new points of view at this iconic castle and beach. This photograph was part of a series that I made that morning and was planned during many previous visits made earlier in the year when I studied how the water reacted with the curves and cracks of Harkness Rocks.
Paying careful attention to weather forecasts, tide times and sunrise positions is always essential for this type of location and when the elements are not playing ball, I always consider it good practice to just hang around to explore and observe. This will hopefully stand me in good stead for any future visits when the conditions are more favourable.
In any case, who wouldn't want to hang around for a while in such a wonderful place?
