Visibility on the A686 road was virtually nil below the clouds. The fog was dense and this road is treacherous enough even on clear days, but I could also see brightness above and remembered this cottage from previous visits and wondered what the view would be like from 'up above'! To my delight the clouds started to clear so I set up the equipment and composed, using the small cottage as some foreground interest. The light was wonderful and the view quite breathtaking. A little bit of selective colouring here using the tiles on the roof to add a splash of colour to the scene.
