The 'Lee Big Stopper' is a filter that will hold back ten stops of light and I don't mind admitting, it's taken me a while to get used to and indeed start loving it!
However, the filter can produce some great effects on water and clouds with the long exposures it enables. I was pleased to adventure out on to the rocks at Marsden, South Shields with a specific shot of the bay and the distant Souter Lighthouse upon the cliffs in mind.

Shot Detail: Canon 1D MKIV camera, 17-40mm f4 lens. Lee 0.6 GNDH and Big Stopper filters.
