"Loch Etive"

Whilst driving up for a nights stay on Rannoch Moor, the weather was awful and my intentions of making some photographs looked like a distant dream as the clouds hung over the moors and the rain lashed down.
However, patience is one thing that every photographer needs in abundance and later in the day, the clouds started to lift and the sun made a brief appearance before sliding over the horizon to the west.
Loch Etive is a beautiful part of the world, with endless photographic opportunities nearby and on this occasion, I was delighted to capture the peace and tranquility of my surroundings.

Shot Detail: Canon 1DMKIV camera, 17-40mm f4 lens. Lee 0.6GNDS, 0.9 GNDS + 0.3 GNDS filters in all sorts of angles!
